It seems to the same file almost all of the time and it occurs when the cache on a machine has run out and the zlib file must be downloaded again. | |

After many attempts some of my fleet managed to get tasks. I think the Almeregrid admins need to sort this issue out if they don\'t want to appear as numbskulls in the world-wide BOINC community. | |

Last day we accidentally submitted 1000 WU\'s that did not upload a file that was needed. Sorry for that. Does non explain the problems at the other dates though. We will look at it. | |

The WUs download and run on my Intel CPUs. They do not download and run on my AMD X6 CPUs. An other question: I\'ve compared the file AM746676-1-5.bp.zLib from two computers, they are identical. So why this file is deleted after a result has finished? The download every time is not needed when the file is the same. It will reduce the load on the server and on our side. To specify the behavior: the file AM746676-1-5.bp.zLib is deleted when the last result in queue has finished and is reported. So when the next result is delivered by the Server before the previous result is reported, the file will not be deleted and downloaded again. ____________ Matthias | |

I have all 64bit cpus on 9 systems and they all run 64bit OS: Windows Vista, Win7 and DotschUX 1.2-64 (2.6.27.17) which is based on ubuntu 8.04. I imagine that all of your machines will crunch WUs just fine if/when they\'re able to get work. The problem seems to be with AlmereGrid\'s server. It normally takes me five or more tries to get the AM746676-1-5.bp.zLib downloaded. The file is obviously there, but for whatever reason, the server claims it isn\'t, more often than not. It\'s frustrating that this problem has gone unresolved for this long. I suspect that many users simply won\'t have the patience to keep playing this game. | |

I am getting work on all my systems but there is still a lot of download failures. I am concerned that the sizes of the files downloaded are fairly large. I have already disconnected from one project, mindbending, because the average upload per core per day was 150GB. I didnt know about that at the time I signed up for it or I would not have. | |
